RATIONALE:
The proposed new inclusive home for the Jacksons combines their tastes and cherished memories creating an overall cohesive concept. This is seen through Zara's dream contemporary style, defined by a neutral colour palette, brought to life with playful lighting and an inviting ambiance.
In contrast, with Sam’s aspiration to infuse elements reminiscent of their Bali honeymoon into the design. The design also insures Zara’s needs are thoughtfully considered, catering to her specific needs, ensuring her comfort and accessibility. It includes features such as a raised toilet seat, grab bars for added stability, crutch hooks, and crutch holders for ease of reach. Additionally, the design incorporates pause spaces throughout the home, allowing for moments of rest and relaxation. There is a seated-access sink for easy use, a bathroom vanity with knee clearance, and a built-in shower seat for convenience. The adjustable shower head ensures that the shower can be tailored to individual preferences, and the push cabinets with no handles offer an easy and accessible way to access storage spaces. The home design, not only reflects their shared vision but also ensures Zara's comfort, creating a truly harmonious and inclusive home for the Jacksons.
